What are Skin Peels?
Skin peels are basically acids at varying strengths that remove the outer layers of the skin to improve skin function and improve appearance. It is a form of exfoliation.
It is very easy to do permanent damage to the face, which is why it is important to consult with a qualified health professional to determine what type of chemical peel will be appropriate. Some skin types require just superficial treatment, while others require deeper penetration. Always see a professional!
